AXIO Stitching Studio changelog

What changed, what you can download, and what to check before updating.

Releases & access

Available downloads
Published download: 1.1.1, with a Windows installer and Python packages on PyPI. Repository source is 1.2.1; matching 1.2.x installers and PyPI packages have not been verified as published.
Who can download
The published Windows installer and PyPI packages are free to download without a Nexitia account. macOS and Linux use the Python package; no native installers are published for them.
License by edition
Published 1.1.1: MIT. Later source revisions, starting with 1.1.2, declare BSD-3-Clause. The repository's current license does not relabel the older published packages.
Before you update
The recommended pip command is pinned to published 1.1.1. Check this history before changing versions. Keyence support and newer large-TIFF behavior belong to source-only 1.2.x changes, not the current installer.

Version history

All six version headings in the retained source changelog are covered. GitHub and PyPI were checked independently: a source heading called a release is labeled source-only until matching distribution is verified.

1.2.1 — Adaptive Keyence BCF parsing

Repository source · BSD-3-Clause

  • Fixed: BCF tile-record parsing handles uniform and variable filename lengths instead of assuming a fixed 58-byte record.
  • Added: A Keyence brightfield hardware preset documents stage geometry and calibration inputs.

Upgrade notes & limitations

No matching GitHub installer or PyPI release was found in the publication audit. Source benchmark reports are not a qualification claim for the downloadable 1.1.1 edition.

Source commit 2363f3e, package metadata and changelog; GitHub/PyPI checked 26 September 2026.

1.2.0 — Keyence inputs and large-TIFF overviews

Repository source · BSD-3-Clause

  • Added: Native Keyence BCF source parsing and downsampled ImageJ-compatible overview output accompany large BigTIFF mosaics.
  • Fixed: Source-based CLI inspection/stitching handles missing legacy XML paths; imagecodecs is declared for compressed TIFF input.

Upgrade notes & limitations

These changes are not included in the published 1.1.1 installer or PyPI package.

Source commit 2d13fe3 and retained changelog; no matching published package verified.

1.1.2 — Source licensing and publishing workflow

Repository source · BSD-3-Clause

  • Changed: Later source adopts BSD-3-Clause; already-published 1.1.1 keeps its MIT metadata. Source documentation describes PyPI installation and the Trusted Publishing workflow.

Upgrade notes & limitations

PyPI currently contains 1.1.1 only. A publishing workflow and a version bump do not establish a 1.1.2 upload.

Source commit 4d23fa0 and live PyPI release inventory checked 26 September 2026.

1.1.1 — Published installer and Python edition

Upgrade notes & limitations
