Third-Party Notices
Last updated 25 September 2026. These notices accompany the pre-release licensing notice for CohortDAG.
Overview
This page mirrors the open-source notices shipped inside CohortDAG. It distinguishes two categories that are legally different:
- Third-party components that Nexitia LLC redistributes inside the CohortDAG installer — these carry notice obligations, satisfied below.
- Runtimes and packages obtained directly from upstream onto your own machine after consent — these are licensed by their respective projects and are not embedded in the assisted installer.

Obtained directly from upstream, not embedded in the assisted installer
After consent, CohortDAG obtains the following on your machine directly from their respective upstream projects. They are not embedded in the assisted installer:
- Java 17.0.20.1+1 (Eclipse Temurin from the Adoptium GitHub release)
- Python 3.12.14+20260924 (python-build-standalone from its GitHub release)
- pyspark (which carries the Apache Spark jars), pandas, scipy, statsmodels, lifelines, duckdb, sqlglot, pyarrow, pyreadstat, openpyxl, and chardet (from the Python Package Index)
The app shows the exact version, architecture, source URL, download size, SHA-256, licence URL, and per-user destination before downloading. Apache Spark is not embedded in the assisted CohortDAG installer.

Apache Spark is used nominatively; nothing of Apache Spark is shipped by Nexitia LLC.
