Getting Started
Follow this quick guide to set up your local lab workspace layer, sync baseline workflows, and federate your agent configurations.
1. Clone AROS Pipeline Factory
Clone the open-source pipeline registry repository containing foundational schemas, tool libraries, and baseline biological intelligence templates.
2. Seed Baseline Templates
Initialize your workspace and download baseline scientific grant proposals (such as JSPS KAKENHI achievements and metadata meta-info) and academic manuscript layouts.
3. Connect Daemon to Federation Cloud
Give the daemon two environment variables. It reads them from the environment (or ~/.gemini/.env) — an earlier version of this guide described a config.json that no code reads to point to the AROS Cloud Federation sync server.
# ~/.gemini/.env (or export these in your shell) AROS_CLOUD_URL=https://nexitia.ai AROS_CLOUD_KEY=your_federation_api_token_here
Alternatively, export AROS_CLOUD_KEY in your terminal session. This will authorize your local machine to upload evolution metrics, fetch updated shared policies, and sync federated knowledge snapshots.
Federation & Isolation Safety Policy
Local storage, provider requests, organization sync and optional community contributions are separate data paths. Current Core exporter source applies allowed file types, a default 256 KiB artifact cap, hidden-file and binary exclusions, plus separate Commons screening. These controls do not guarantee that allowed text contains no confidential information. Review the contents, permissions, configured providers and deployed version before enabling sharing. Organization snapshots can include semantic facts and procedures; community publication requires separate review and authorization.
