# Scientific Writing 1.1.0 — 5 October 2026

This owner-authorized update publishes the manuscript workflow and helper changes developed after 1.0.1. Existing component license scopes and earlier grants are retained. Qualification receipts are separate from this package; no independent human scientific review, universal writing-performance claim, or new native-agent qualification is implied.

# Licensing correction — scientific-writing 1.0.1

Prepared on 25 September 2026 under the owner's request to fix licensing across the five published skills. This is an AI-assisted licensing and packaging correction; it does not claim a new independent scientific review. Runtime scripts, scientific references and demonstration data are unchanged from the identified source snapshot.

Package license: Nexitia Skill License 1.1 + third-party licenses. RIGHTS.json identifies the scope for each file. No earlier MIT, Creative Commons or other grant is revoked. No exclusive ownership of scientific methods, facts, third-party publications or customer outputs is claimed. Dependencies installed by users retain their own licenses; this package does not include their runtimes.

## K-Dense attribution and scope

Scientific Writing includes material from K-Dense Scientific Skills, copyright (c) 2025 K-Dense Inc., under MIT. The notice and full terms are in licenses/K-Dense-MIT.txt. Four reference guides are exact matches to the preserved upstream source; imrad_structure.md has substantial overlap. The general report guides and LaTeX assets are conservatively treated as MIT-derived material too. The mixed SKILL.md retains MIT rights in upstream passages; Nexitia terms cover only its separate owned additions. The files marked MIT in RIGHTS.json may be used and redistributed under MIT without the commercial restrictions.

## Earlier editions

The original 1.0.0 ZIP and its AROS Skill License 1.0 are preserved. This edition uses Nexitia Skill License 1.1 for the identified commercial material, with explicit third-party exceptions. Earlier update entitlements are preserved. The original license is included in licenses/ for reference and does not restrict independently licensed components.

## Contribution provenance — 5 October 2026

This working contribution is based on the complete scientific-writing 1.0.1 edition identified by archive SHA-256 `5ce49959bb1ea17fbac03c769f46ad919c559234ae851938c8ebf1ddb2d8b155`. The preceding notice describes that preserved historical edition. This is a distinct 1.1.0 edition; the immutable 1.0.1 archive is preserved.

The candidate develops general manuscript production, automatic paragraph and package review, separate editorial decision records, conditional resource loading, and supporting validation. Source and test changes are documented in the contribution records; no independent human scientific review, marketplace publication, or universal performance qualification is implied. Existing component licenses and earlier grants remain in force. Moved or modified K-Dense-derived files retain the original MIT notice and scope. Public scientific citations are distinct from this package attribution.

## Candidate component provenance

The original 1.0.1 component map is the starting point. Four maintained Python implementations moved from `assets/` to `scripts/`; the old paths remain small compatibility wrappers with the original component terms. The report formatting guide moved from `assets/REPORT_FORMATTING_GUIDE.md` to `references/report-formatting-guide.md` and retains MIT. All inherited MIT guides and report/LaTeX assets retain MIT after corrections; the mixed SKILL.md preserves upstream MIT scope.

The house, section-recipe, experimental-reporting and rebuttal guides were generalized to remove private exemplar paths, personal correspondence and unsupported universal rules. The template's historical metadata and field caches were sanitized while retaining its style interface. New finalization/evidence/study-profile/editorial guidance, resource inventory and review/validation helpers are owner-directed contribution material; their specific scope is recorded per file in RIGHTS.json. Development histories, private manuscripts, prior raw conversations and evaluation answers are not part of the runtime payload.

These additions do not bundle the ASD-STE100 standard, third-party literature, scientific datasets, external runtimes or official reporting checklists. Linked external sources retain their own terms and must be consulted when needed. Plain-language editorial guidance is not a claim of certified controlled-language compliance. The 1.1.0 edition does not alter the preserved 1.0.1 package.

## Book-informed section principles

The section map and `references/manuscript-section-principles.md` contain original distilled guidance informed by Hilary Glasman-Deal, *Science Research Writing for Non-Native Speakers of English* (Imperial College Press, 2010). The guide provides bibliographic attribution, page ranges and explicit adaptations. The book, its illustrations, teaching examples, phrase banks and extracted text are not included. Their copyright remains with their respective owners; no permission, endorsement or ownership of the book is asserted. General ideas and methods are not claimed as exclusive property. Private historical training manuscripts and their derivatives are also excluded from the distributed runtime.
