One earlier draft, two complete revisions

Both versions turn the earlier draft into a more carefully qualified manuscript. In this pair, 1.1.0 gives a clearer organizing argument and a structured editorial handoff; 1.0.1 exposes several numerical inconsistencies more explicitly. The results show useful changes and remaining weaknesses.

One retrospective ClinicalSpark demonstration. AI-assisted review; no independent human rating or general performance estimate.

What the revisions show

Review focus1.0.11.1.0
Meaning and estimatesRetains the central cohort counts, estimates, intervals and descriptive summaries. Explicitly calls the material a demonstration (Abstract; Results; Tables 1–8).Retains the central numerical outputs and demonstration framing. Seven tables consolidate repeated information; the small prematch denominator-label omission is noted below (Abstract; Tables 1–7).
ArgumentResults and discussion emphasize why particular outputs cannot yet support interpretation; useful for detailed scientific appraisal (Results 3.3–3.7).The introduction separates association, treatment effect, mediation and prediction, then carries those questions through the discussion (Introduction, paragraph 2; Discussion).
Exposure definitionKeeps “anterior loss only” in Table 3, but omits “only” in the Methods definition (Experimental Procedures, Oral exposures and subgroup definitions).Preserves “anterior-only” consistently in Methods, the abstract and the combined anatomical table (Materials and Methods 2.2; Table 4).
Numerical inconsistenciesExplicitly flags non-reproducible prematch SMDs, mediation-percentage reconciliation and inconsistent implied diabetes comparators where the results are presented (Results 3.5–3.6; Tables 3 and 7).Records the specific SMD discrepancies in the handoff. The manuscript says values are source-reported, but does not explicitly flag the mediation-percentage or implied diabetes-reference discrepancies (Table 3 note; Results 3.4; handoff D3).
Citation recordsCorrects retained bibliographic identities; documents claims and verification in a flatter reference record. Its handoff also records the Suita correction.Separately records identity, content access, claim support and source status. This is more inspectable documentation; it does not itself prove more accurate citation support. Two retained sources were read at abstract level.
Editorial separationIncludes declaration gaps in the manuscript, but also retains revision-process commentary in its discussion (final Discussion paragraph; back matter).Keeps author action items in a structured separate handoff. This produces a cleaner article, but declaration status and some known numerical issues are less explicit within the scientific manuscript itself (handoff D1–D6).

These findings describe this pair of outputs. The comparison does not attribute every difference to the skill version.

What still needs author review

How this comparison was reviewed

Two fresh sessions received the identical earlier draft and writing request, each with one frozen skill edition. An additional AI reviewer read anonymous text packages without the edition mapping; edition strings and local paths were masked only in its review copies. Original outputs are preserved. All 17 baseline manuscript pages, eight baseline table pages and 14 candidate pages were visually inspected during generation; the paired text reviewer did not assess layout. The baseline LibreOffice preview renders front-matter line numbers despite its section settings. Native Microsoft Word rendering was not tested. No overall score or human endorsement is claimed.
